Short-Term Scheduler EIT (December 2021 - November 2022)• Maintained short-term drafting (more focused on smaller excavations by this time), site inspection, and survey support scope from previous role in planning.• Responsible for generating and presenting mine plans ranging from 1 week to 3 months using Deswik scheduling tool. Liaised with operations contractor to capture feedback and ensure ongoing executability of mine plans.Short-Term Planning EIT (August 2021 - December 2021)• Responsible for conducting short-term pre-site inspections to verify completion to design of pre-requisite tasks and infrastructure installation.• Using standards and specific input from mid-term team, drafted short-term mine layouts using Deswik.CAD ranging from entire production levels to more detailed and time-sensitive smaller excavations.• Supported survey team drafting driving layouts for subsequent execution by operations team.• Responsible to take key details from short/mid-term scheduler and presenting a concise, executable weekly plan to the operations team.

• Conducted weekly surveys mine-wide to ensure regulatory compliance of underground ventilation network.• Updated the Life-of-Mine ventilation plan to account for physical design changes and added detail regarding individual mine levels/zones. Generated using Howden Ventsim Design software.• Developed engineered blast letters which provided optimal configurations of the underground vent network to ensure minimal time required to clear workings of contaminants after blasting prior to personnel re-entry. • Borden runs on a ventilation-on-demand system managed by central control. Frequently liaised with dispatch in capacities including calibrations, troubleshooting, etc.• Oversaw procurement of permanent and temporary ventilation infrastructure in accordance with mid and long-term mining plans.• Provided input to mid-term conceptual meetings to review planned ventilation strategies with broader technical services team months in advance of the execution-level design.• Attended operations morning huddles and gave crew presentations on a variety of topics (general overview of vent network for new employees, lock-out/tag-out, etc.).• Supported ventilation-related initiatives through Newmont’s Full Potential continuous improvement program.

Worked on a greenfields exploration project in the Elk Valley, British Columbia. My major project involved the modelling and comparison of potential operating scenarios on a number of bases including, but not limited to:- Financial merit (via a dynamic model with enhanced workflow autonomy using Excel and VBA)- Terrestrial ecosystem disturbance- Greenhouse gas emissions attributed to haul trucks- Traditional mining KPI's (truck hours, material movement, strip ratio etc.)I developed an interactive data platform using Power BI to connect numerous streams of data and provide the end user with an intuitive tool capable of projecting overall project risk with more granularity than was achievable through traditional scenario analysis. My term involved Monitored While Drilling (MWD) data analysis in addition to administrative support (meeting minutes, memos, etc.) for a wide variety of mining technology consulting projects. My experience both stimulated my interest in technology and innovation relating to the mining sector and also helped me to refine my skills, both technical and non-technical.

Worked at a number of Teck Coal sites with the Real-time digital systems team. My work mainly involved:- Monitored While Drilling (MWD) data analysis and potential process improvements- Shovel payload monitoring data analysis and administrative project support- Predictive modelling of blast vibrations by location using provided input parameters
