Scope of which includes leading emergency response activities along with hosting Ministry of Labour representatives for both surface and underground visits.• Responsible for Investment Review Papers (subject to evaluation by either site or regional investment committees) to justify capital/operating budget allocation.• General oversight of both maintenance and operations contractors (including critical control verifications).• Reconciling both operational and maintenance data to provide fleet-wide metrics (Availability, Effective Utilization of Availability, MTTR, MTBF) for corporate month-end reporting.• Provided support to operations contractor (formal risk assessment, procedural development, productivity analyses) for: o Transition from platform bolting to jumbo bolting (battery-electric application). o Integration of battery-electric CAT R1700XE underground loader.• Following stench gas exercises, lead debriefs with operations crew to collect front-line observations for subsequent follow-up with management team.• Lead monthly meetings interfacing with primary equipment OEM to review site performance/vendor support.• Through collaboration with direct reports, drove 2023 improvements in both underground Time Usage Model data quality along with surface batch plant productivity.• Identify opportunities and plan execution for trialing new products on site (e.g. drill consumables, blasting technology).• During time in this role, have completed the following training programs: o Redpath Supervisory Common Core Modules o Newmont Visible Felt Leadership o Newmont Fatality Risk Management for Leaders

Generated using Howden Ventsim Design software.• Developed engineered blast letters which provided optimal configurations of the underground vent network to ensure minimal time required to clear workings of contaminants after blasting prior to personnel re-entry. • Borden runs on a ventilation-on-demand system managed by central control. Frequently liaised with dispatch in capacities including calibrations, troubleshooting, etc.• Oversaw procurement of permanent and temporary ventilation infrastructure in accordance with mid and long-term mining plans.• Provided input to mid-term conceptual meetings to review planned ventilation strategies with broader technical services team months in advance of the execution-level design.• Attended operations morning huddles and gave crew presentations on a variety of topics (general overview of vent network for new employees, lock-out/tag-out, etc.).• Supported ventilation-related initiatives through Newmont’s Full Potential continuous improvement program.
