Lymabean.com was a college-based social network designed to bring both the student and local business communities into the same online environment. Took Lymabean from concept creation through development planning, execution and launch. Made regular strategic plan presentations to advisory board and investor groups. Implemented cloud-based project-management platform to streamline project plans for multi-disciplinary teams of high functioning professions in fast-paced start-up environment.

Hired to spearhead the creation of the internal accounting department, including hiring staff and establishing financial policies and procedures for corporate office of over 100 employees, as well as 12 branch offices in three states. Researched, selected, and implemented new mortgage banking accounting software resulting in 50% efficiency savings in accounting for $30 million monthly loan volume. Advised ownership on company ventures, including evaluating profitability and tax consequences associated with various transactions that resulted in over $1 million in tax savings. Directed the preparation of and performed a review of all financial statements and budgets.

Oversaw various compliance and consulting projects, including reviewing consolidated and single entity income tax returns for public and private corporations, tax provision analysis, and IRS and FTB audits.
