-Utilized SolidWorks to design the first prototype of a novel method of measuring soot concentration in engine exhaust using a laser and multiple photodetectors-Created drawings using the SolidWorks model for manufacture by a machine shop-Performed initial benchtop testing of various components in the system to reduce troubleshooting time upon assembly-Assembled and tested the first prototype Fast Exhaust Nephelometer on the Single Cylinder Research Engine for its feasibility in measuring engine soot concentration

-Utilized Visual Basic to create a new user interface for an existing VBA coded gas-gas heat exchanger design program to improve program efficiency and security-Performed structural loading and weld strength calculations on large acid plant equipment to ensure margins of safety are met-Prepared documentation for piping standards for use across all company projects-Worked alongside administrative assistants to prepare Russian technical passports used in the commissioning and start-up of an acid plant
