  Responsible to determine when excavation/construction projects pose a jeopardy to the Sprint fiber optics cable, negotiate a resolution that removes the conflict, or engineer, bid/award appropriate contracts/work, and supervise relocation of Sprint’s cable to eliminate the jeopardy. Assesses washout and near washout conditions and engineers and affects necessary repairs/ corrections. Incumbents of this entry level position operate under supervision/guidance of the supervisor or a more senior OSP Engineer for moderately complex projects and independently on non-complex projects.
