My role as Weapons Support Supervisor was to ensure the maintenance sections ability to complete weapon alterations and retrofits effectively and ensure safe, secure, and reliable equipment. I directly employed 11 skilled technicians and ensured that they are completing all tasks promptly and properly. I had the privilege of maintaining a $2.5 Million tool and equipment account. I was also charged with ensuring all equipment is maintained and certified to the high standards the Air Force requires. My 11 years that I served have created my foundation in which my work ethic is built on. I am a passionate supervisor who will do whatever I can to support my team and the mission. I am able to learn any task very easily, and I have a hard time with failure. I have a very positive outlook and always strive to pass that to my coworkers.

Enlisted Accessions Recruiter for the Greater Detroit Metro Area. At any given time I was responsible for three separate offices and over 50 High Schools and Colleges. Within my time I was selected as the Senior Flight Trainer. I was responsible for the training and mentorship of our new recruiters. I was selected for Senior Recruiter Badge three years in a row. I was selected as Top recruiter in 2010 and 2011; and earned several monthly and quarterly overproduction awards. I also was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal at the end of my term as a recruiter. Through my supervisors and leadership; I was able to become stronger within sales, marketing, public speaking, networking, and able to maintain strong leadership to my Future Airman. My primary duties as a Weapons Maintenance Team Chief were to lead and supervise the alteration, repair, retrofit, handling and transportation of the weapons stockpile tasked to service. I was leading Team Chief on three specific weapon systems as well as Semi Truck Operator, Convoy Specialist, Vehicle and Weapons Trainer. I was tasked to directly supervise five airmen and assist in furthering their careers and training. I was one of several Non Commissioned Officers tasked with the management of maintenance scheduling and effectiveness. Over the 5 years I was stationed here I was awarded Airman of the Quarter, Maintenance Professional of the Quarter, and Selected as Top Team Chief for Inspector General 2008. I was awarded my first Commendation Medal when I departed for Recruiting.

I returned to Geek Squad in August 2013 from a Military Leave of Absence to pursue my career in recruiting.
