Jeff began his Leadership career, while attending Arizona State University on an academic scholarship, as a night restaurant manager in Tempe, Arizona. Starting as a dishwasher and progressing to manager in only three months, Jeff realized his passion was for leading people and he changed his college major from Bio-mechanical Engineering to Business Administration after two years.Jeff continued his career in restaurant management over the next several years while also taking a brief job as a mechanic for a local cab company. In 1986 he joined Pizza Hut after learning the brand was going to expand its operations into delivery in the Phoenix market. Jeff became one of only ten managers hired to open over 30 restaurants in that region. This was the start of a 20 year career that spanned five states and 13 positions, including leading one to 45 restaurants and a functional team. Jeff became knowledgeable in all areas of successful management: operations, training, staffing, finance, marketing, IT, and human resources. After an accomplished career in the restaurant industry, Jeff decided to try his skills in the automotive sector. Starting in internet sales, he quickly became the number one salesperson at the dealership. This led to positions as a Finance Manager and, ultimately, to Sales Manager. In early 2014, Jeff decided to join Dan Morris (whom he had met and became lifelong friends with in 1986 while working for Pizza Hut) in his pursuit of opening Honest-1 Auto Care locations all over the country. Jeff has been interested in auto repair since rebuilding his first car, a 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner, back in 1980. After rebuilding several cars, selling and financing cars and being a mechanic, running auto repair locations is like a dream come true.
