Here at CDS Global Cloud, I work as a Technician and also as Security. I have experience in Rack & Stack (physically installing servers into the rack that supports the weight and organizes the wiring and creates ease of access for maintenance when needed.) I have also done some wiring and wire organization. I also check our equipment every day to make sure it is running properly and report any problems to management. I have created air flow supply ducts which provides chilled air to our server aisles which allows the hot air to disperse and be replaced with the chilled air, cooling the servers and preventing long term damage to the small internal parts of the server. I monitor our server temperatures through our BMS, the software which allows me to monitor our equipment and assure it is running properly. I have also done many different handy man tasks here such as repairing roof leaks, preventing air conditioning return leaks, installing overhead rails for our sliding aisle doors, general upkeep of the facility, measuring, drilling, and other processes for fabricating or modifying equipment or pieces of equipment. I have done many different tasks over the 2.5 years that I have been here.

As a warehouse laborer at Amazon, my job in the ship dock was to scan incoming packages and neatly stack them onto a pallet, wrap the pallet in plastic wrap to ensure it stays together, and transport this pallet to awating trailers so the packages could be shipped out to various other locations. I also pulled pallets for last call and put them into trailers.
