* Wrote automated tests using Expect, Python, Ruby and C. Tested a wide range of device features like auto-connect, DDNS, DHCP, SSL, VPN, PPP, and TCP-serial. * Maintained and added features to a custom built test-automation and reporting system. Written in Expect and the test results aggregated to a remote server using XML-RPC. * UNIX and Windows system administration. * Operated and maintained a network of 5-7 local and remote test servers using VMware. These servers ran daily automated tests on nearly 20 devices. * Designed and implemented a configuration file format and parser for the automated tests. * Produced a test coverage reporting method for an embedded device operating system. * Co-designed and developed a cross-platform network device monitoring application. Installation packages were written for Windows, Linux, HP-UX, AIX, OpenServer, UnixWare and Solaris. * Maintained a device discovery and installation wizard written for Windows in Visual C++. * Wrote a tutorial and sample application in C++ for SSL sockets included in the software development kit offered to embedded-device customers. * Wrote a cross-platform SNMP discovery application using Winsock and BSD Sockets in C. * Embedded firmware programming. * Wrote a cross-platform device discovery and installation wizard for UNIX.
