I engineered and led the development of a System Integration Lab (SIL) with a $250K budget, creating an IR-Aware digital twin for efficient risk mitigation through pre-flight hardware/software testing. My leadership facilitated a rise in the system's Technology Readiness Level (TRL) from 4 to 6 through four successful flight tests. I managed all electrical components/interfaces, schematics, and maintained the MBSE Cameo model, utilizing Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket to track milestones and ensure effective communication.

In this role I held responsibility for all aspects of project coordination and management as LSE for Hungary, Qatar, Ukraine, and Norway customers (15 radar deliveries). As part of these responsibilities, I performed integration & verification planning, development, and execution of radar modifications/upgrades. I also organized a reoccurring cadence for cross-functional work groups to address system level issues. Additionally, I supported manpower staffing for test events, and contract proposals with new or existing customers. Finally, my team and I worked to capture and control all system level specification requirements into the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORs) database.

In this role I designed, integrated, verified, validated, and accredited modifications and upgrades for 8 EE test systems. Additionally, I was IPTL for 2 multidisciplinary teams of 8 and 15 engineers and acted as CAM for $23.1M on 28 test systems (optical/electrical/mechanical). As a part of my responsibilities, I had to generate and communicate health metrics and schedules for program management and senior customer leadership to provide project status and communicate challenging issues.

In this role I co-led team of 7 EEs on 9 test systems during transition to production for Presidio Gen 2 platforms. I was also the electrical authority for 2 production CCA/Stack stations, where I was personally responsible for modifications and sustainment. As part of my responsibilities, I had to troubleshoot and repair a malfunctioning engineering system until full functionality was restored. Lastly, I implemented a process improvement flowchart and led an effort of updating and releasing 88 drawings.

I was awarded the 2013 Summer Research Experience (SRE) for eight weeks of full-time research where I designed a novel experiment on the phytoremediation of an environmentally hazardous chemical, 1,4-dioxane.I was then asked to continue my research under another awarded with the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP, listed below) to fund 2014 academic year research where I organized a team to collaboratively engineer an automated hydroponic phytoremediation system.

The CSU-LSAMP program is supported by funds from the National Science Foundation (NSF grant # HRD-1302873), the CSU Office of the Chancellor, and the 22 participating CSU campuses. The goal of this program is to increase the number of targeted students who graduate with degrees in the sciences, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). The targeted students are individuals who have faced or face social, educational, or economic barriers to careers in STEM.

In this role I produced a graphical user interface (GUI) for the Deep Space Network’s software receiver using object-oriented Matlab to be used on Mac OS, Windows, and Linux machines. I also upgraded the software for an existing Common Platform GUI using C++ and incorporated new custom plotting features and functions.

In this role I created 8 positive mentoring relationships to increase transferability and retention rates among community college students in STEM majors and coordinated workshops on professional development and time management to encourage academic success.

I was awarded the 2014 Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) for ten weeks of full-time research where I characterized IV curves for diodes, photovoltaic devices, detectors, and other semiconductors using simple, cost effect devices for the purpose of STEM educational outreach.

In this role I developed and taught innovative curricula using tactile and kinesthetic strategies to provide accessible learning for a diverse population. I also maintained a safe, friendly, and organized educational environment for students.

In this role I developed a new computer filing system increasing data entry efficiency by 4x. I also co-created an accounting database designed to teach future interns to upload, interpret, and index sensitive documents.
