From my volunteer experience to my corporate career, I strive to make those around me know that they play a very important part in accomplishing the overall goal. I hope to ensure that the customer feels that they are the focus -- from the manner in which my teams work directly with the customer, to the execution of the service, and beyond -- I truly value the welfare and success of others. I enjoy collaborating with other leaders and departments, because no great empire is built alone. But while I love serving customers, what drives me the most is building and driving a quality team, finding the best talent in the industry and then taking them a step further. I understand the worth of hard work and do extremely well under pressure; it is in those high pressure moments that I feel my strength in problem solving and leading a team into action at its peak. Though confident in my ability to lead, I believe remaining teachable is the most foundational example for leadership; while integrity, character and honesty are the basis to lead from. These attributes combined with ambitious, high-performance goals produce an operating team and structure that knows no bounds and achieves great results. My strong negotiation skills have also proved very helpful. From locking down some of the best agreements on leases with major landlords, to working on budgets and deadlines with contractors and equipment manufacturers. I treat everyone I meet with respect, maintaining a strong relationship with any contact can prove beneficial even when you least expect it, as you never know when networking leads you to someone who can help you overcome a future challenge. I also believe that no matter what my title is or what my role entails, from the lowest to the highest, whatever the need is I am ready to serve and lead by example. I look at every challenge as an opportunity, problem solving comes naturally to me. But I believe it is important to teach my team how to think critically so that they can become a stronger functioning team member, which will ultimately create an environment that others want to be more active in.
