FourthFrame has teamed with IGS to help them establish an internal mobile practice and build their first two iOS applications. My role is the iOS Architect and Senior Developer for the project, leading a small team of FourthFrame and IGS staff. Member of the NetJets mobile application team, developing iPad and iPhone enterprise applications used by the Flight Crew and Sales Team. I helped build two key mobile applications:FliteDeck - I was the lead iOS developer for an iPad app used by the global sales team. The highly visual app showcases the NetJets fleet of aircraft, provides interactive 360 views of each jet and is used to create trip estimates and proposals. It also provides the sales team quick access to information about NetJets’ aircraft owners. Box was integrated to provide a content syncing solution. MapBox was utilized to provide offline maps. Restful services and CoreData were used to sync and persist data.Waypoint - I was a senior iOS developer for a mission critical logistics app used by pilots and crew members. The app uses JSON template driven views that are dynamically populated from restful web services. I designed an implemented a variety of user interface and foundation code for the iPhone/iPad app.Technologies include Objective-C, Xcode, iOS 6.x & 7.x, Cocoa Touch, UIKit, CoreData, Storyboards, Grand Central Dispatch, Collection Views, AutoLayout, Custom Transitions, JSON, RESTful Web Services, HockeyApp, TestFlight, Crashlytics.

Member of the development team for the Abercrombie & Fitch point-of-sale application, which is based on the Oracle Retail POS Platform. My main focus has been credit, debit, and gift card processing internationally and in the US. Created a pluggable payment authorization architecture to support a number of different vendors as Abercrombie expands into a new countries around the globe. Worked with PayPal to integrate one the first implementation of PayPal in-store checkout.Technologies include Java 6, Spring, Restlets, Maven, and XML.

Served as an Enterprise Java Architect and Flex Consultant to investigate key technologies and standards that could be leveraged to help the client build a homeland security application. Prototyped a number of key pieces of the system using Adobe Flex and Air.

I'm currently consulting part-time at ACS Publications along with a number of other FourthFrame consultants to help transform their Scientific Journal Publishing System to be XML based. I led the design and implementation of a new Enterprise Java application. Technologies leveraged include WebLogic, Java, XML, Groovy, and Maven.

Designed and Developed the Caution and Warning System (CAWS) for a new electronic flight deck. C++, INTEGRITY real-time operating system, DO-178B certification.

Senior Architect of the Corporate Architecture Group. The group drives the software architecture of all LION products and collaborates with Development on architecture, project planning, best practices, specifications, design, implementation, performance, and scalability issues.

Lead Architect for Discovery Center, a bioinformatics research platform used by scientists and researchers. NetGenics was acquired by LION bioscience.

Team Lead for several SciFinder projects, an award-winning n-tier research tool currently in use by tens of thousands of scientists and researchers. Technologies include C++, UNIX, Windows, and Macintosh.Team Lead for several projects to build a client/server system used by over 400 scientists to build large text and chemical structure databases.
