He led negotiations resulting in “Clearinghouse Equivalence” with the European Commission. and established long sought arrangements for systemically important US clearinghouses to have Fed accounts. Mr. Bandman worked in the financial industry in New York and London as an attorney and business executive. He led market structure initiatives, and rebuilt Cantor Fitzgerald’s market data business after the events of September 11, 2001.Mr. Bandman graduated from Yale magna cum laude, with honors in History and English, and from Stanford Law School with honors as a member of the “Order of the Coif”. He is a six-time Jeopardy! Champion, and spent his winnings backpacking.
