Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

In my "off time," I have worked as a regional musician. I'm primarily a bass guitar player, but also a background singer and occasional lead singer. This has been one of my passions since I was around 14 years old. It is more of a hobby nowadays, but I get paid to do it when I'm not volunteering my services at my church, so one could call me a professional of sorts.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

This was a large, multi-brand beer distributor located in Arden Hills, MN. I managed a sales team, that serviced liquor stores, grocery stores, restaurants and bars with our brands. About 80% or so of our business was Miller and Leinenkugel beer products, but we also distributed several import and specialty beers. The company has since changed its name to J.J. Taylor Distributing of Minnesota.

I was a store manager for Superamerica. While the lion's share of my time was spent at a then, full-service store in Edina, I also worked for a short time in stores that had problems and needed an experienced manager to come in an help get them back on track. While in Edina, I managed a staff of roughly 35 people...some part-time and some full-time. While employed at Superamerica, I learned a lot of skills, but the one I found most valuable was managing people from different walks of life.… Show more I was a store manager for Superamerica.
