About Jeff Blacker

I am an independent consulting actuary with 25 years of life and health insurance experience in the U.S., Latin America, Africa, and India. I have been the lead trainer for insurance courses developed by the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii), the International Actuarial Association, and the International Labour Organization (ILO). I am also an actuarial exam instructor with The Infinite Actuary, where I prepare students for the Society of Actuaries Valuation and Regulation exam in the Group and Health track. I was the principal editor of the book "Actuaries in Microinsurance", published by Actex in 2015.Specialties: Insurance product development and financial reporting for credit life, funeral, long term care, critical illness, cancer, accident, disability, Medicare supplement, worksite universal life, dental, and comprehensive medical insurance.
