I can either rewrite problematic sentences or paragraphs, or suggest they be reworded.PROOFREADING:If edited text will be flowed into a design, it needs to be proofread too. My experience is that anything can go wrong. Proofreading provides a final check of grammar, punctuation, and spelling, plus a check for typographic problems such as dropped lines, missing italic type, ditto marks instead of true “smart” quotation marks, etc. Please contact me when you need someone to:• fix the spelling of homonyms like "they're," "there," or "their," as the context demands• catch words incorrect in the context that spell check can't recognize, such as "ordinance" vs. "ordnance"• shorten "at this point in time" to "now"• point out that when you "could care less," you really "couldn't care less"• tell you that your dead metaphor has come alive when it's been mixed with another metaphor• correct absurd dangling modifiers such as, "Running through the rain, my book fell in the mud."• put the "L" back in "public"
