Jeff Brooks has been working in the private and public sectors for over forty years. After 14 years in the IT industry, he entered recruitment in 1984. He built two recruitment agencies from scratch – Gresham Computer Personnel and Amdahl Resources International and founded a third, Primesourcing Ltd., where he is Chairman. He was a Board member at Parity Resources for five years, responsible for annual sales > £50m (over 500 contractors on billing) including permanent fee income > £1m. He was also in charge of service collateral, bids and proposals, Managed Services - 300 contractors/temps on billing (£30M annual revenue) - and Marketing. Jeff now helps companies develop big business and profit growth through advice, guidance, training, marketing and strategic development.Jeff is very well known throughout the industry and was Chairman of the REC’s Technology sector from 2004 until 2012 - he joined the REC Board in Sept 2007 and was one of the two Vice Chairmen. until he stepped down from the Board in 2017.In 2012 Jeff was presented with a lifetime achievement award by the REC for services to the Recruitment industry.Jeff has been a local Councillor since 1992; he was chairman of the Royal Berkshire Fire Authority for 8 years and he is a major community leader in West Berkshire.
