Orby TV was the first low cost national prepaid satellite television provider in the U.S. Gaining tens of thousands of subscribers while entrenched providers (DISH and DIRECTV) were shedding millions, Orby TV focused on low cost entry level, no-contract affordable packages comparable to a prepaid mobile service.Secured distribution channels and created selling and pricing strategies for Orby TV receivers and DVRs. Negotiated deals with major retailers including Target and Best Buy. Developed company direct/digital marketing and messaging efforts including direct mail, email, and Google AdWords. Enhanced retail partner websites, digital marketing, placement, and merchandising. Created training strategies and messaging from CSRs to the sales floor.

Played a major role with numerous corporations to develop and/or improve their sales, distribution, and marketing strategies. Client list includes Ion Media Networks (Airbox), Qualcomm, Disney, Creative Labs, Ooma, and Bluegreen.

Created, executed, and maintained “green” trade-in programs across all avenues of distribution including RadioShack (Trade and Save), Crutchfield, Brandsmart, Simplexity (Wirefly), CompUSA and TigerDirect.

Initiated distribution for cutting edge High Definition satellite television service through consumer electronics retail channels and built a sales operations team to support merchandising, contracts, training programs, and sales initiatives. Formed aggressive sales team to secure additional distribution for next phase(s) of product rollout.

Oversaw the initiation and development of all consumer electronics national accounts for distribution including Best Buy, Radio Shack, Circuit City, Walmart, Kmart, Target, Sears, Blockbuster, Dell, and national buying groups. Built a team to develop sales and marketing strategies in coordination with advertising and product development groups. Grew national sales to over 50% of all new subscriber additions adding 10 billion dollars of value to the company.
