I'm looking for opportunities with software or consulting firms or to be honest - anywhere that I could be on a team of good people who challenge and support each other. I’ve been a software consultant for most of my career, but I’ve realized it was the problem solving/solution creating with my team-mates that has been most rewarding. I like figuring out puzzles that no one else can. I'm willing to relocate for an awesome opportunity.I enjoy being on the road. I like going to different offices and interacting with different people and being challenged to solve unique issues. I’ve been warned my entire career that I’ll get sick of traveling so much, but that’s simply not how I’m wired. I’m the business guy at the airport that’s not rushing and talking loudly on his phone. Of course delays are frustrating, but a few years ago I realized that focusing and stressing on it just made it worse. Recently, I’ve taken this technique and further refined it to the point where I almost enjoy the delays and logistical messes of the big city airports. As a kid, I would have viewed any airport or flight as the greatest thing ever so recapturing that spirit and perspective is part of my trade secret. As long as I’m not hot or sick (traveling Kryptonites), I’m Joe Chill.In my spare time, I enjoy going on mini adventures with my family and watching the latest super hero movies. I try to exercise and meditate every day and keep up with the latest in personal development techniques via podcasts like Tim Ferriss, James Altucher, and Sam Harris.
