Aims and ScopeThe Journal of Defense Analytics and Logistics considers a broad range of topics across the logistics, operations research, and supply chain management space. However, each research article considered at the journal must contribute directly to the art and science of national and/or international defense.Manuscripts that develop innovative new ways of thinking about defense are especially encouraged. Successful manuscripts are theoretically sound, methodologically rigorous and practically relevant.The journal is international in scope, and submissions from all countries are welcomed. JDAL will publish two issues per annum from 2017 onwards.Peer reviewJDAL operates a double blind peer review model. All articles undergo an initial assessment by the journal editor. If they are considered suitable for peer review, articles will then be reviewed by a minimum of two external reviewers to assess its suitability for publication.
