About Jeff Clark

A true curator at heart, I consult, produce & deliver creative projects of all shapes & scales. Founding Art of Protest has allowed me to bring creative minds together using the mechanisms I’ve learned in life. I create positive learning environments through multiple managerial techniques, supporting my team as we tackle real-world issues focusing on on education, social justice and sustainability.Where my story began...As a young person with dyslexia & ADHD, the school system failed from an early age. My teachers told me I was a lost cause, destined to fail. No person should be told that they're inept because their brain sees the world through a different lens. So I began my mission to ensure young people weren't failed by the same system that tried to fail me.In response to my experience, I created the learning model "the Five C’s": Curios, Creative, Confident, Collaborative, and Capable. I believe in this learning mechanism so much, that I have incorporated it into the Art of Protests' business ethos.I began my creative venture by learning photography. My love of mountains took me on a pathway where I became a qualified Expedition Leader. My yearning to see the other lands took me to many places across the world.I gathered experience by working in many sectors, eventually moving into the world of fine art markets in London, New York, Miami, & Los Angeles. I later went on to consult with Moniker - Europe’s largest Urban Art Fair before going back to my roots in the North of England where I co-founded the Art of Protest Gallery. I promoted artists while elevating York’s status, bringing its cultural heritage into new limelight and implementing an edgy avenue from which the city has thrived. After the world watched a pandemic change the facade of our environment, I decided to set my sights higher & stepped into the realm of public art, creating Art of Protest Projects in 2019. With an ambition to make art accessible to everyone, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredibly renowned street artists while developing local talent. Four years on, Art of Protest Projects has successfully delivered over fifty projects.Always wanting to push the envelope & break down barriers, Art of Protest Projects expanded into more than just murals on walls as we tackled real-world issues, launching successful engagement campaigns and new arms of the business, such as our creative learning model. With an ever-expanding team, we now write public art strategies within the cultural sector for towns & cities that desperately need to reclaim their voice.
