Every Thursday evening from 8P-9P, STH MEMPHIS JEFF provides an offering of the music inspired by his upbringing in South Memphis, the Bluff City’s most musical neighborhood.

Jeff is a partner with The Muddy Water Group, an Atlanta-based entertainment company specializing in creative consulting: management; A&R; marketing; & production of live events. Cohran is the co-creator of the Muddy Water Internship Program. The program explores the areas of management, A&R, social media and grassroots marketing, event planning, and live show production.

Technical Director for the 2023 Red Bull Dance Your Style Charlotte and the first stateside Red Bull Symphonic show featuring Rick Ross, Orchestra Noir, Trap Choir, and violinist Mapey at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Hall on November 4, 2022.—Completed pre-event and on-site logistics coordination for all a/v related matters. —Communicated regularly with Red Bull personnel, Orchestra Noir, all talent and Atlanta Symphony Hall representatives to ensure a seamless production. —Managed all aspects of a/v related load in, set up, changeover, and load out. —Attended necessary production related meetings, including all meetings called by Red Bull personnel.—Developed lighting plan for the show with lighting director. —Sourced all backline, audio, and lighting for event. —Maintained communications throughout the event date with all outsourced a/v related suppliers, service providers and vendors as well as Red Bull points of contact.

From 2009 to 2022, Jeff Cohran served as the Tour & Production Manager for Oscar-winning, Grammy-nominated, Atlantic Records artist, Janelle Monáe & her Wondaland Records label. During his time with Ms. Monáe & Wondaland, Cohran produced shows at The White House; The Nobel Peace Prize Concert; The Grammy Awards; The Sydney Opera House; Saturday Night Live; Coachella Festival; American Idol; Glastonbury Festival; Montreux Jazz Festival; The David Letterman Show; The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon; The Ellen Show; Dancing with the Stars; The BET Awards; The Jools Holland Show; The MTV Video Awards; So You Think You Can Dance, among others.

From 2011 until 2017, Cohran was ACEG’s Creative Director, percussionist, occasional producer & vocalist. Cohran A&R’d the group’s three EPs, The Kool Collection remix project, & their first album, Self-Help.

Jeff was the longtime manager for the Atlanta indie sextet, Jaspects. Cohran A&R’d the group’s cult-classic Double Consciousness (2007) & The Polkadotted Stripe (2009) albums.
