Jeff Collins is an experienced energy leader with a domestic and international track record of excellence in business development, corporate strategic planning, and investment evaluations. His work in the energy sector includes Renewable Power, Battery Storage Systems, Generation, Alternative Fuels, New Technologies, E&P, Midstream and LNG.At Corvus, Jeff led evaluations and conducted due diligence of +20 investment opportunities and presented to leading financial institutions and private equity.As past VP- Business Development at GTE, he was responsible for: A&D, mergers, strategic planning, contract negotiations, Joint Venture partnerships and Government relations.At Penn West, as VP - Corporate Development, he led strategic planning, economic evaluations, risk analysis and business performance groups. He worked closely with COO and CFO to implement new projects.While at CERA, Mr. Collins has advised boards of major energy firms and financial institutions and governmental organizations. Mr. Collins has directed efforts on new country entry strategies, valuation of assets and portfolio management. Before joining CERA, he was at BP in its global gas and power group developing new power generation Midstream and LNG facilities . He has worked with governments and major energy companies in the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America to structure commercial contracts and establish new partnerships. He previously was employed with Amoco in various divisions, including the International E&P group based in Houston, where he pursued the commercialization of power projects in Trinidad, gas storage projects in Europe and alternative energy projects in the USA. Mr. Collins completed an Advanced Executive Leadership Program at Dartmouth College, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering) from Queen’s University and an MBA (Finance) from the University of British Columbia.
