For 30+ years, I have been conducting forensic accounting and data investigations after serving as an auditor with international accounting firms and running my own firm for nearly 20 years. I uncover deeply buried information to assist with resolving business and criminal disputes.My expertise is analyzing large sets of electronic data. Attorneys turn to me on cases that involve millions of records. Using the right tools, I quickly grasp what the data represents. I can then answer any questions about what’s there and interpret the data to identify issues. My work includes reconstructing accounting records and analyzing complex accounting issues.I have a keen interest in the litigation process and experience with all phases. I’m brought in to help with everything from initial investigation of the facts, assisting with both document and electronic discovery (e-discovery), and analyzing complex data, to developing strategy and providing testimony as an expert witness. I understand the accounting and data related issues litigators confront and focus on tackling a dispute’s critical big picture issues.I bring strong technical expertise to the table as a programmer skilled with databases. I have developed software tools and applications that enable efficient analysis of massive amounts of data that are difficult, if not impossible, using other software. This includes developing forensic accounting software that allowed me to forensically analyze 18 million accounting records involving 500+ entities.
