Having spent the past 20+ years working primarily in the retail and service industries, I have had the pleasure of working for many leaders. I have also had the honor of being a leader of many, many more.With my previous role as a District Manager for Oberweis Dairy / That Burger Joint / Woodgrain Pizzeria (yes, that's right - three businesses!) & as Director of Operations, I was championed with bringing the abilities and talents of upwards of 26 full-time, salaried managers together into one dynamic, synergetic team. My team is multi-generational - from "Baby Boomers" to "Millennials" to "Generation Z's", the range of knowledge and experiences is vast. I have worked to instill the culture of "each one, teach one" within the team, acknowledging that the least experienced has much to learn from the most experienced, and vice versa.With Oberweis Dairy, I'm proud to have had the opportunity to develop even more skills through a variety of different roles: District Manager, Manager of Real Estate & Store Development (handling all leasing and acquisitions of properties, acting as Project Manager for multiple construction projects, site selection, and more), and Training General Manager. These opportunities have aided in my own development of understanding multiple aspects of the retail/service industry - from before the beginning, when a building doesn't even exist, all the way through the set-up, hiring, and training processeses, and finally to leading 14 successful, profitable business units.
