Joining the Professional Services team, I was recruited as a program leader for eCommerce on the West Coast, working with some of the top online retailers who do billions of dollars in transactions online each year. Due to my extensive leadership and executive facing experience, I was assigned to some of the most difficult accounts and tasked with improving their perception of our organization while keeping out competitors who were aggressively pursuing the business. Due to continued success with both account management and internal team leadership my role evolved quickly through two promotions.

I was hired to transform the team from an organizational roadblock in to a highly productive service delivery organization. My role was rapidly expanded to close out a number of major infrastructure and security projects that were long overdue.

MINDBODY (NASDAQ: MB) is the leading provider of cloud-based business management software for the wellness services industry with over 45,000 subscribers in 132 countries serving over 25 million consumers.In the wake of a multi-day distributed denial of service attack MINDBODY was searching for a way to simultaneously improve the reliability, security (PCI and HIPAA), and scalability of their application platform and I was tasked to deliver immediate results in all three categories. While hired in a primarily operations management role, my responsibilities quickly evolved to additionally take charge of our project portfolio. Acting as both a Project and Program Manager, I balanced daily tactical responsibilities with longer term strategic planning. In just over three years the company size doubled, our customer base tripled, and my role was expanded twice through promotions.

Atascadero State Hospital is a maximum security psychiatric hospital with 1,950 hospital staff providing evaluation and treatment of up to 1,275 forensic patients.I was selected to leverage my private industry experience in order to improve a historically rigid government IT organization, and came on board while the team was struggling to complete a hospital wide workstation and network upgrade. After turning the project around, I was tasked with taking over portfolio management of all IT projects.

Ground Control is a satellite communications service provider and device manufacturer offering fixed, mobile, portable, and maritime solutions for thousands of organizations throughout the world.I was brought on as a Sales Engineer to ensure success as the sales team grew to focus on enterprise level customers, with whom they had historically had poor success. With a small team that lacked formal project management, my operations role quickly expanded to include direct management of all large scale projects, from sales close to final sign off. I was rapidly promoted to Service Manager and tasked with improving customer satisfaction levels while reducing payroll costs. My role was then expanded to Director of Operations in order to improve collaboration between the sales, service delivery, and technical support teams. Many of our largest customers felt that I represented the face of the organization, and would routinely interface with me regarding any and all inquiries.
