I'm a classically trained jeweller who now specialises in manufacturing, 3D printing / 3D CAD jewellery design.Although I now specialise in production management, my attention to detail, both practical and hands on knowledge of production processes, has always helped with scheduling, coordinating production and material management, resulting in more efficient production lines.My everyday tasks include: reviewing current systems to identify potential improvements, planning and organising production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements, estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and department managers, determining quality control standards, re-negotiating schedules as necessary, selecting, ordering and purchasing materials, liaising with Buyers, Marketing and sales staff.
