I started as a rails engineer on the sales tax team. Later, I worked with the design team to build a design system along with a rails UI library, and we completely redesigned and rebuilt the product UI in about 3 months.

This was my dream job at the time; I loved the Rdio product. I skipped my final exams to interview and dropped out of college to do the internship. I built the little embedded player that would appear when an Rdio link was shared in Slack, etc. I also collaborated on a super cool homepage redesign. This is the job that really sparked my interest in.
