Jeff Davis, PE has worked in the environmental, health and safety industry for over 20 years, and he is currently the Sr. Explosion Safety Consultant for Fike Corporation. He has extensive experience in combustible dust hazard analysis (DHA), fire and explosion protection design, compliance audits under OSHA's PSM and EPA's RMP standards, hazardous materials assessment, industrial hygiene, and industrial air quality.In particular, Mr. Davis has conducted numerous combustible dust hazard analysis and designed fire and explosion protection systems at diverse facilities in a number of industries; including, food processing, lumber and wood products, metal forming, chemical manufacturing, rubber and plastics, and automotive and aviation parts. He has given numerous seminars and written articles on the topic of combustible dust hazard identification and mitigation. As a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Industrial Fire Protection Section, he is a former principal member of NFPA 61, NFPA 654/655/91, and NFPA 664.
