I worked on a variety of projects which ranged from low level C firmware, all the way to high level python GUI's. I wrote one tool to aid the firmware team. I developed an application for the audio team. I also worked on a robust tool with other engineers. I developed several firmware features that were implemented into the project. I was also responsible for fixing several bugs affected several aspects of the system. I worked with I2s data transmission, EEPROM, RAM, as well as other hardware systems on a hearing aid.I wrote code in Assembly, C, C++, and Python. I developed GUI's using Qt and PyQt. I worked with a variety of equipment: oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, network analyzer. I used the Atlassian suite, JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence. I maintained code in a Git like fashion using SourceTree and Bitbucket. I worked in an Agile environment, and was responsible for completing stories.I also participated in most company activities, several volunteer events, including the 2017 Starkey Foundation Gala, and attended most learning sessions offered in the R&D department.

I was part of a team that manages OS level systems for the datacenter. This includes applications and technologies that are run on our datacenter. I work closely with the hardware administrators to provide stability for our production applications. I was in charge of the Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Hipchat. I was in charge of every aspect of this suite. I improved the stability of the Bamboo Agents from an average up-time of a day to several months of up-time. I automated our system to check if the agents are building. I implemented an upgrade process to keep our systems up to date, with no downtime during office hours. I troubleshooted countless problems and solved critical problems the same day I started on the problem. I moved the entire suite from our external network to our internal network, and then back to our external network. I integrated our user management with our Active Directory LDAP. I trained several other students to take over my responsibilities before I left. I worked with developers to ensure the products were actually solving their needs and not causing them problems.

I worked as the electrical expert for any prototyping service rendered. My primary responsibilities included: providing feasibility from an electrical perspective; designing, assembling, and repairing PCBs; developing firmware and software; debugging and improving systems. I worked on two projects, the first project was to adapt a circuit to include functionality such as Bluetooth, new data inputs, and a new pcb form.The second project was to further develop a unique H-Bridge. All products were intended for production at a later date.
