Provide system integration certification testing for customers. Authoring test design strategies, test plan documents, purchase requests, and build out of test topologies. Execute tests ranging from functionality, to scaling/performance, and longevity testing. My focal point at Juniper has been a New Product Introduction (NPI) project, that consists of an end-to-end solution for Mobile Security and SaaS. The Product is called Junos Pulse MSS and MSG (Mobile Security Suite and Mobile Security Gateway). Junos Pulse communicates with all mobile and non-mobile devices, iPhone, iPad, laptops, desktops, droid, blackberry, etc. The Junos Pulse MSS and MSG within my lab environment was built with local servers, as well as with external servers located in the customer test-lab datacenter. I made heavy use of server virtualization interoperating with various load balancing appliances (e.g. Zeus, Nginx, Fortinet) and server vendors such as IBM, HP, DELL. Creating datastores, VM host & data clustering, guest OS' running on ESXi4-upgraded-to-5, VMotion, and SANs.

Worked as a Remote Tele-Commuting Network Consultant Engineer for Cisco Systems to migrate all routers of the North American AT&T IP Core Backbone high-availability scalable core routers from Avici System’s TSR/SSR to Cisco CRS-1. Responsible for expanding and migrating existing sites and for adding new U.S.A. core IP-backbone POP locations using Cisco equipment. Approximately 28 cities total, with 2 of these new POP locations. Member of AT&T IP Backbone Planning team  Interacted as Cisco Network Consultant Liaison between Avici Customer Support and AT&T Executed migration of IP Core Backbone routers from Avici TSR to Cisco CRS1 in ½ of the U.S. AT&T Network in project exceeding $400 Million. Upgraded 26 U.S. Cities with CRS's and Added 2 new Core Backbone POP sites from the ground up, including infrastructure, design, budget and installation (equip. included: Cisco CRS and GSR routers, Juniper m-series routers, and Avici routers, and fiber optic splitter bays and batch panel bays). Consolidation and Data Center facility infrastructure design and equipment (power, cooling, space, mechanical, electrical etc.). Created and implemented an inventory management system to monitor and maintain U.S. inventory. This required access to SQL database to manage with TCL hooks. Interfaced with Program managers, NOC operators, and executives in regards to roadmap, requirements, budget and other fiscal/engineering duties. Modified automated test equipment using proprietary API’s built with TCL/TK, Expect and C programming. Used Spirent test equipment (Adtech/ax/4000, Smartbits, Test Center, etc.) Created and submitted Engineering work orders, Created and updated Network Diagrams and Network Connection Database and Spreadsheets (for Router and Datacenter connectivity). Designed intranet website for team use, as well as, interdepartmental use which included extensive web programming using server side TCL, and Shell Scripting.

Dev-Test and Systems-Test team leader for a variety of SW & HW releases throughout life cycle of project.
