I received my Master of Forest Science in Wildlife Ecology from Yale University in 1985 and conducted habitat assessments and wildlife studies for more than 15 years. In 1997, I cofounded Albion and took on the additional role of Chief Financial Officer for the company. My background in biological resource management and consulting guides my administrative decisions, including the organizational tools I provide Albion project managers. To best serve our clients, I have adapted Deltek Vision, an integrated project management and accounting software package, to support effective monitoring of project schedules and budgets. I also work to ensure that Albion’s actions reflect the company’s mission in the best interest of our clients’ goals.In my role as Senior Wildlife Biologist, I designed, completed, and reported field wildlife studies using techniques such as Habitat Evaluation Procedures, stream invertebrate sampling, small mammal trapping, predator scent stations, night spotlighting, radio-telemetry, electroshocking, passive and active bird relocations, preconstruction presence/absence surveys, and vegetation surveys. I developed recommendations to mitigate fish and wildlife habitat losses resulting from project impacts, and I have conducted studies for residential development projects, electrical transmission lines, pipelines, surface coal mines, hazardous waste disposal facilities, and military facilities.
