- Lead architect on Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Southern Border Pedestrian Biometric Field Test. Designed and implemented comprehensive multi-modal biometric field technical experiment to better understand face and iris biometric capabilities in challenging CBP environments. Led development and deployment of technical solution to a southern border Port-of-Entry (POE). Constructed test methodology and execution plan for pilot over several months with extensive data capture and analysis. System processed over 1 million border crossings and biometrically processed over 150,000 travelers using multiple vendor technologies and biometric capture methods. - Served as lead Solution Architect/Project Lead for CBP Land Border Integration (LBI) pedestrian reengineering project. Solution created up to 50% increase in traveler throughput and upwards of 80% reduction of traveler wait time at land border POEs. Success resulted in expansion to 31 additional POEs (127 lanes) and add-on capabilities and deployment to alternate modalities. In 2013, the reengineered pedestrian system processed over 10.5 million travelers along the highest volume southern border POEs. The solution received recognition by Information Week as a top Government IT Innovator for 2012 and was a finalist for an Excellence.gov award.- As identity management SME within Unisys Federal, provided technical leadership and ongoing strategy for existing clients as well as corporate initiatives. Provided full proposal lifecycle support, including solution design, technical content creation, and orals participation. Conducted briefings with potential clients, national and international governments, and participated in industry trade groups.

Served as Solution Architect working with the Department of the Treasury on delivery of an enterprise identity and access management solution framework, for use by all Treasury bureaus and agency stakeholders, aligned with Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) guidelines.

- Served as lead Solution Architect on implementation of the GSA USAccess program. USAccess is a shared service supplying nearly 70 Federal government agencies with smart card identity credentials in support of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12). This included a nationwide infrastructure for identity proofing and registration and smart card issuance for approximately 500,000 Federal employees and contractors. The USAccess solution received the 2008 Smart Card Alliance award for Outstanding Smart Card Achievement – Outstanding Issuing Organization- Provided core offering support within EDS for smart card, biometric, security, and identity management pursuits and offerings. Served as industry and standards body representative, including primary voting member for INCITS M1, Biometrics- Recognized at the corporate level as an EDS Distinguished SE. The recognition, and ongoing role, at the time was held by 61 individuals within the corporation that repeatedly developed exceptional technical solutions- Key developer and architect of the EDS Assured Identity corporate Identity Management product offering. - Sr Information Specialist on implementation of the Virginia First Responder Access Card (VA FRAC) system- Lead Systems Engineer on implementation of Pedestrian Secure Electronic Network for Travelers' Rapid Inspection (SENTRI) on southern U.S. border. System included two facial biometric systems and fingerprint verification system.- Advanced Systems Engineer on delivery of Israeli project BASEL border crossing system. Smart card border crossing system with implementation of multi-modal fusion biometric system with face and hand geometry. Sole developer of Command and Control system and various other system utility apps.- Advanced Systems Engineer on award winning Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) SENTRI vehicle border crossing program. Technologies included RFID, biometrics, and vehicle tracking systems.
