Launched D.C. edition of the daily lifestyle email magazine. Produced five issues per week, including content selection, reporting, writing and commissioning photography. Responsible for writing compelling headlines and subject lines to generate click throughs and email opens. Grew subscriber base by more than sixfold. Launched and oversaw content for D.C. edition of “The Next Move,” UrbanDaddy’s award-winning mobile app. In 2013, duties expanded to include editing the “Jetset” travel edition, overseeing content selection, story editing and image selection. Developed, launched and co-authored the daily “Yeas & Nays” column, which covered “people, politics and power” in the nation’s capital. Interviewed scores of boldfaced names, from James Gandolfini to John McCain to Tony Bennett to Yogi Berra. Column had daily print circulation of 260,000, plus several thousand unique visitors online. Wrote weekly restaurant reviews for the paper’s “Night Out” page. Edited the paper’s wine coverage.

Conceived, reported and wrote “Under the Dome,” a twice-weekly column covering political personalities and social events. Developed and edited the “Capital Living” section, comprising features, profiles, neighborhood news and reviews. Edited twice-monthly books page. Spearheaded the paper’s food and restaurant coverage.

Created, wrote and edited special advertising sections and sponsored editorial on topics ranging from health to travel to food and wine.
