After I took the toaster apart he said, “That’s fine, now put it back together.” So I put my little brain and hands to work and did just that. This characteristic has defined my life and my career. In my 10+ years of experience as a financial and C-Suite executive, I have seen much success in leading companies to become more efficient and more profitable by establishing reliable internal processes and controls with timely and accurate reporting guiding top level decision-making. I have found that true growth comes from defining a vision and creating a culture that can deliver on that vision. As the CFO of Design Packaging Inc., I saw an already great company experience even greater financial success. It was challenging, but the rewards were well worth the efforts. After leaving DPI I was offered an opportunity to join an organization in the fledgilng AZ cannabis industry. I had zero experience with cannabis, but the challenge seemed like an exciting one so I decided to take the risk. It was more than worth it.
