I’ve joined LinkedIn to share my passion and expertise with the community by offering informal networking, guidance and contacts across all facets of executive leadership, strategic planning, business development and business operations.As a child, my grandfather gave me an old toaster and a few hand tools one day. After I took the toaster apart he said, “That’s fine, now put it back together.” So I put my little brain and hands to work and did just that. This characteristic has defined my life and my career. My passion is to dig in to an organization, understand its inner workings and build it into something better. In my 10+ years of experience as a financial and C-Suite executive, I have seen much success in leading companies to become more efficient and more profitable by establishing reliable internal processes and controls with timely and accurate reporting guiding top level decision-making. I have found that true growth comes from defining a vision and creating a culture that can deliver on that vision. As the CFO of Design Packaging Inc., I saw an already great company experience even greater financial success. It was challenging, but the rewards were well worth the efforts. After leaving DPI I was offered an opportunity to join an organization in the fledgilng AZ cannabis industry. I had zero experience with cannabis, but the challenge seemed like an exciting one so I decided to take the risk. It was more than worth it. Our teams not only experience monumental success, we created business legitimacy and respect as leaders in the industry.
