As the Neurodiverse Program Manager, I serve as a liaison for students, families, faculty, and staff at Berklee. I am the point person for students who identify as neurodivergent - I can help students navigate the complexities of being in college both socially and academically. For faculty and staff, I help train folks to design classrooms, policies, and environments to be more inclusive of all needs and assist with escalated concerns for a student who identifies as neurodivergent. And for parents and family members, I serve as someone to connect with, discuss their student's needs, and communicate about escalated concerns with staff at Berklee.

Supports and implements quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation projects that support employment, community life engagement, and inclusive postsecondary education outcomes for individuals with disabilities under the supervision of senior research staff.

As a graduate research assistant for the UMass Amherst College of Education Center for Student Success Research, I assist in the planning, organization, execution, and subsequent analysis of various research projects. The topics of such projects include a STEM program for young women, interdisciplinarity in the natural sciences, and disability supports throughout a college campus. Within these projects, my responsibilities include survey editing and distribution, recruitment and communication, interviewing and recording, and analysis. More recently, I have been serving as a teaching assistant for a new course on disability history offered through the UMass University Without Walls.

As the coordinator for Disability Rights, Education, Activism, and Mentoring (DREAM), I assist the National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD) and the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) with their student advocacy and communication work. This entails working alongside the disabled student-led DREAM Board to provide resources and support for disabled student advocates at college and universities throughout the United States. Additionally, I provide technical support and information to any individuals who reach out to DREAM. As of September 2021, the grant funding DREAM has ended, but may be renewed in 2022.

Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor's Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships (ONSF).In this role, I assist with benchmarking the University of Michigan's students' performance and success rates when applying to the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) As part of this process, I conduct data collection, analyses, and comparisons between institutions, conduct informational interviews with NSF GRFP award recipients, and develop resources to support future applicants.

MCubed is a novel, yet nationally-recognized funding initiative housed in the University of Michigan Office of Research (UMOR). Through this program, professors can circumvent the traditional peer review process by simply identifying two other professors (at least on in another college or unit) and agreeing to pursue a project. Instead, the University of Michigan trusts on the expert judgment of our faculty as top researchers in their field, and in their ability to recognize the expertise of their peers around the university. During each funding cycle, the groups (or cubes) or professors can obtain either $15,000 or $60,000 in research funding (a "mini-cube", or "classic cube", respectively) within a matter of weeks. Since the initial MCubed funding cycle in 2012 invested $14 million in over 200 projects, these groups have brought up over $60 million in external grants. As Program Assistant, my role entails supporting the continued success of the MCubed program as it concludes its 2.0 cycle and prepares for the third funding period. My responsibilities include interviewing faculty regarding their projects and experiences with the program, and editing and producing videos for showcasing in our November 1, 2017, symposium.

I work on the research team of Dr. Peter Bahr: Associate Professor of Higher Education of the University of Michigan. Our research team studies the pathways of students in community college STEM programs throughout the United States. This includes the study of employment after enrollment and the experiences of "non-completers". My individual research within the team concerns STEM pathways for students with disabilities enrolled in community colleges in the United States.
