About Anna Jeffers
I am a veterinarian with training in small animal medicine and public health. Currently I work for ASPCA as a consulting veterinarian in clinical toxicology. I was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, and my family traveled to Germany, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and finally Georgia. During high school, I became fascinated with the scientific workings of animals and disease. I attended Agnes Scott College and earned a bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Asian Studies. At Agnes Scott, I also gained experience in small animal medicine and public health research. During vet school, I enjoyed opportunities to study abroad in Germany and Brazil. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my rescued dog and cats. I also love reading, cooking, and crafts.
