I have transitioned to an active retirement, having stepped down as General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Telos in 2022. I continue to act as a business advisor, problem-solver, and mentor to many former clients and colleagues on an informal basis.

I have been a corporate and commercial litigator and business and risk advisor with Miles & Stockbridge P.C. for 31 years. I served as a principal of the firm, head of its litigation department and a member of its board of directors and management committee for many years. I also served as the firm’s general counsel for more than 17 years. Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, I clerked for Judge J. Dudley Digges on the Court of Appeals of Maryland.Over the years, I had the pleasure of partnering with clients in industries as diverse as cybersecurity, telecommunications and information technology, financial services, manufacturing, insurance, real estate, and the public sector, and handled hundreds of cases at all levels of state and federal courts and in commercial arbitrations throughout the United States.

I served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. J. Dudley Digges, Jr., Associate Judge, Court of Appeals of Maryland.
