Dr. Lambert has been a family physician since 1988. He practiced medicine on the north side of Houston for 31 years before joining the Nano Vision team in September 2019. Dr. Lambert grew up in a military family and thus lived in multiple areas, including Texas, California, Virginia, Hawaii, and Panama. Dr. Lambert lived in Austin, Texas during his junior high and high school days and attended A.N. McCallum High School where he was Senior Class President, Captain of the Football Team and graduated in the top 4% of his senior class in 1976. He then attended The University of Texas in Austin from 1976-1980 graduating with a B.A. in Biology with Honors. He later attended The University of Texas Medical School in Houston (McGovern) from 1981-1985 where he received his Medical Degree. Dr. Lambert went on to complete his Residency in Family Medicine in Conroe, Texas through the Montgomery County Medical Education Foundation (affiliated with UT) 1985-1988. He became Board Certified in Family Medicine and started his practice at Houston NW Medical Center 1988. He remained on staff at Houston NW Medical Center for 30 years and would serve several years during that period as the CME (Continuing Medical Education) Chairman and Family Practice Department Chairman. In November 2016 he left private practice to become an Associate Professor of Family Practice at Baylor College of Medicine until September 2019 when he joined Nano Vision to become a Medical Director. During the course of his private practice, he was named three times to America’s Top Doctors by his peers. Dr. Lambert has also been actively involved in Medical Missions for 20 years serving in Guatemala and more recently in Haiti.I am currently seeking a Medical Director position, or resuming private practice opportunities.
