• Responsible for hiring, mentoring, and training the biggest section in the State of Louisiana which comprised a recruiting section of 20 fulltime recruiters and 5 support staff.• Establish performance standards, monitor, and evaluate recruiters on the overall effectiveness of their recruiting and retention activities, such as number of leads generated, applications received and successful completion of basic training. • Assist recruiters by developing and executing strategies for finding and attracting potential candidates, such as attending job fairs, hosting informational events, and using social media to reach out to candidates. • Conducted quality control of all new enlistee packets with 100% accuracy prior to arrival at Military Entrance Processing Station. • Using Recruiter Zone’s applicant tracking system (ATS), directed recruiter assignments of 60 high schools and all zip codes to ensure total coverage of recruiting assets within area of responsibility. • Build relationships with local community and government leaders to help identify potential candidates. • Provided coaching to employees, family members, and new enlistees to ensure military programs were understood and available members were trained on opportunities.

• Accessed 26 new members into the Louisiana National Guard during FY 2016 which resulted in winning top production recruiter for the year.• Interviewed and counseled individuals interested in joining the military by assessing their goals and conducting background checks to determine eligibility.• Analize, plan and execute lead generation activities through telephone prospecting, area canvasing and social media• Close coordination with highschools, colleges, and community officials to locate qualified applicants.
