In my current role, I act as trusted advisor to VA Hospital Logistic and Clinical Staff in Cath Lab, IR, and OR regarding Cardinal Health’s fully integrated, data-driven clinical supply chain solution, WaveMark. In this role, I oversaw the design, creation, implementation, and workflow development for VA Hospital projects to install web-based inventory solutions that provided inventory visibility and just-in-time ordering enablement. Key Contributions:- Gathered and documented project requirements from stakeholders, and prioritized customer goals to attain key milestones and ensure successful installs.- Developed project timelines and served as liaison between hospital staff, clients, stakeholders, and management throughout all project phases. - Established monitoring and reporting mechanisms to ensure smooth, timely delivery of projects in adherence to set timelines and budgets. - Tracked project status, created roadmaps for customers, and identified risks and scope creep.

During this time frame, I worked with CareFusion, a spin-off from Cardinal Health, and oversaw implementation of Pyxis medication management software and medication dispensing machines. I led all facets of project management, hardware installation, software installation, troubleshooting, training, and technical support. I also managed hospital workflow design meetings, interface validations, database maintenance, and software upgrades. Key Contributions:- Selected to beta-test device scanners at 2nd-largest facilities in Pacific Northwest, oversaw implementation, and designed training and roll-out documents.- Mentored and trained new-hire staff, processed large batches of data for customer support, and participated in stakeholder meetings at hospitals to discuss status updates.- Managed several successful multimillion-dollar installs, and designed policies and SOPs that are still in use today.- Led RFID system implementation, and created technical implementation & product guide.

I began my early career working as a Pharmacy Technician and was soon promoted to oversee the installation of 60+ Pyxis Med Station units, including managing staff & vendors, rolling-out training procedures, collaborating with IT, and establishing project milestones and timelines. Key Contributions:- Monitored projects to ensure on-time progress and adherence to budgets, assigned and verified work completed by teams, provided input on hiring decisions, and evaluated team member performance.- Worked with RNs, OR Staff, and Medical & Surgical Staff to identify requirements for IT system enhancements. - Honored as “Employee of the Month” while serving in Pharmacy Technician role.
