Over 15 years of Law Enforcement Experience. Over 10 years sworn in the State of Georgia. Over my career, I have over 1,150 training hours.From 2009 until 2014 I worked for the Department of Children Services for the State of Tennessee. I started as a front-line worker as a Children's Services Officer then became a Shift Supervisor at Mountain View Youth Development Center. During my time with DCS, I was the Defensive Tactics Instructor and a Certified Red Cross Instructor teaching classes at the Tennessee Corrections Academy located in Tullahoma, TN as well as at the facility I was assigned to in Dandridge, TN. In 2014, I moved to Georgia taking a job with Cobb County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy until 2021. I completed the Basic Mandate Law Enforcement Course through North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy totaling 408 hours in 10 weeks. Over my career with the Sheriff's Office, I climbed to the level of Deputy Sheriff III working in various positions: Visitation Deputy / Direct Supervision of Inmates / Work Release Deputy / Property Release / Inmate Release / Hearing and Sentencing Deputy / Classification Deputy / Check Point Deputy / Court Checkpoint Deputy.In 2021, I took a Job with Kennesaw State University Police Department as a Patrol Officer. I have dealt with crimes from criminal trespassing to Outstanding Warrant Felony Traffic Stops. I completed the DUI/DWI Standard field Sobriety Test Course, Advance Traffic Law, Crime Scene Processing, Police Cyclist Course, Search & Seizure, Crisis Intervention Team Course, Sexual Assault Investigation, and Gang Recognition Training Course just to name a few. Due to my productivity as a patrol officer, my work ethic, and my professionalism with the community, I was promoted to Corporal Detective in 2022.
