Tool And Die SpecialistEnnis-Flint Emea Apr 2015 - May 2017Chorley, GbThe plant moved from Chicago to here in Thomasville, NC and I was hired on as the Tool and Die Specialist Lead. Responsibilities include in charge of maintenance, for all the plastic injection molds, toolroom, design and engineering, spare tooling, and new tooling. I have served on several teams here at Ennis. I have been involved in several Kizan events and have went through different training classes including a few 5s and six sigma training. Built a program to track the maintenance of the molds which also tracks any issues that come up on the production floor. I have been working on getting our shop up and running so that we can do some of our own repairs here and came up with a 3 year plan for purchasing equipment. We do help troubleshoot issues not just with the molds but also assist with other processes in production. Completed a 10 hour course for OSHA received a certificate. I do have my fork truck license as well. -
