About Jeffery Cannon

I have a passion for the environment and a mind for research. For 12+ years, I have worked to help leaders solve environmental and forest management problems. My research addresses questions related to land use and forest dynamics, and has informed policy-making, ecological restoration, and conservation throughout the U.S. The most fun part of my job is guiding leaders towards refining environmental questions, and designing analyses to quickly address them. My blend of quantitative and communication skills helps me effeciently harness the necessary data to articulate clear patterns and directions that inform environmental decision-making.

We combine large scale spatial datasets, models, remote sensing, and field studies to address these questions.
