I began my upstream oil & gas career working in the western Canadian sedimentary basin prior to transitioning to an international focus. For 13 years, the vast majority of which was spent living in Egypt, I accomplished steady career growth and gained extensive management experience. The local context presents unique challenges in the operating environment, nevertheless, operating teams delivered production records, grew local operational acumen and implemented and maintained robust HSE objectives. I have found that personally investing in the value of relationships is pivotal to a successful international career. Trust built upon the demonstration of integrity and understanding and working to establish common ground, is critical to organizational growth and continued success. This success serves stakeholders well as organizational targets are exceeded within a rewarding team-based environment In this manner, I enjoy fostering constructive discussions, cycling through and resolving conflict quickly and fostering an open and inclusive culture.
