Participated in port of legacy Delphi code to C# using nHibernate as the object relational mapper. Create and consume web services in both C# and Delphi. Migrate authentication and authorization services developed in Delphi and made those available as C# web services. Unit testing practiced in both C# and Delphi and some test driven development practices employed. Holding a role as technical lead, I have been involved in soliciting requirements, building requirements templates, heading technical meetings and providing direction for other engineers.

Primary developer and architect of web application user interface using Struts, JSP and Servlets. I developed an encoding system for URLs. I produced a close to application feel for web application that included JavaScript, DHTML, and server side dynamic content.Developed extensions and maintained a distributed workflow system. I have extended the system to allow human based tasks to be run within the automated tasks. Maintain Swing GUI for this workflow system. Extended and improved the system. Built additional interfaces for third party extraction of data to web based user interfaces.I was the sole developer on Site Analysis product. This product had Swing GUI, XSL, XML, JSP, Spidering, and distributed workflow components. Responsibilities included maintaining release schedule, developing code, interaction with customers, working with QA and production.

Designed and built a C extension module for Python. The extension module built a 3 dimensional array that contained variable length strings from a large string returned from a legacy database. This module handles thousands of records where each record required as many as 10,000 memory allocations, and runs on multiple UNIX platforms. I used memory-tracking tools and sophisticated debugging techniques to track down some of the memory issues.Designed and built a text entry editor to edit all text on the entire web site through a web interface. This allowed customers to specify their own particular wording for any given entry on the web site, including foreign languages.Designed and built a protocol to allow direct function calls to Python modules from within a URL, using our existing structure.

Tested, profiled and deployed software to deliver high quality experience to customers. Exercised NT system administration duties.
