In my 28 years of law enforcement experience I have worked on many situations where small and large scale disasters have occurred. I have helped to provide emergency care and assistance to those affected. Additionally, I have created numerous training programs, taught and spoke publicly and have managed several volunteers. I have worked in leadership positions for years and have the ability to manage large scale programs and people. I am very self-motivated and can understand and meet the needs of situations and people in need. My education with a concentration in Homeland Security would also be an asset in preparing and understanding large scale disaster preparation and the needs of those affected. Upon retiring I am looking forward to a new career in disaster response.
