And yeah, sometimes that means debugging at 2 AM because we treat these projects like they're our own startups.Why do we do it? Because we're on a mission to increase human agency. In the summer of 2023, I was part of this awesome full-time bootcamp at the University of California, San Diego, teaching up-and-coming tech wizards the ins and outs of full stack development. Picture this: Monday to Friday, 9 to 3, diving deep into coding right from the cozy comfort of our homes. We kicked things off mid-May and wrapped up by August 10th, 2023, following the footsteps of the Full Stack Developer program by edX.So, what was I up to? Well, I was the go-to person for sparking up interesting chats during our daily office hours. It was all about getting those lightbulb moments to click for the students, guiding them through any roadblocks, and just being there to answer their myriad of questions. Grading projects was also my gig, alongside making sure everyone had what they needed to crush it in their learning journey.Teaching stuff like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the whole shebang about third-party APIs, Progressive Web Applications, MySQL, not to mention the MERN stack (yep, MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), was part of the daily grind. My mission? To arm these students with the superpowers they needed to navigate the wild world of web development confidently.But it wasn't all lecture and no play. I was all about fostering a space where everyone could learn from each other, pushing them to gel together as teams and meet those deadlines. And let me tell you, seeing them turn their ideas into fully functional web apps from scratch was nothing short of amazing.The cherry on top? Helping them become tech ninjas who could learn new tricks on the fly and tackle challenges head-on. Through a mix of guidance and mentorship, I aimed to prep them for the tech curveballs and opportunities ahead.All in all, it was about making that bootcamp journey a memorable and empowering one for my fellow cohort members, gearing them up to face the real-world tech battlefield.

I departed from the company in February 2021, shortly before its closure in April of the same year. During our peak in December 2020, we achieved an impressive 150k in gross sales for the year. Our dedicated team consisted of eight skilled individuals, each overseeing different departments.My primary responsibilities revolved around managing the company website. Initially, I administered our Shopify platform, which was later transitioned to BigCommerce. Furthermore, I managed two dropshipping sites and was in charge of curating all imagery displayed online. Oversaw UCLA Political Science Department’s front office followed through with requests from faculty, gathered and collected data, resolved problems for students and faculty, as well as assembling areas for departmental events.
