In August 2021, I joined the medical malpractice defense and healthcare transactions law firm Ottenwess Law. Because of its trial experience in high stakes matters, the firm is also retained in other significant, complex litigation, arbitration, and negotiations, including termination of executive employment agreements and related matters.My litigation practice focuses on medical malpractice defense, professional liability, healthcare related insurance and other business related litigation in Michigan, including:•Defense of medical malpractice claims. Representing physicians, managed care organizations, hospitals, and other health care providers in negligence claims.•Managed care insurance disputes and ERISA claims.•Defense of product liability claims including pharmaceuticals and industrial products.•Defense of other liability litigation, including general liability and personal injury.•General corporate, commercial, business litigation involving breach of contract claims and other disputes.•Appellate litigation.
