Creation of Wordpress sites for nonprofit organizations. Extensive theming and customization of template files based on a parent theme to build sites that matched designs created by our artists. Sites were designed to be fully mobile compliant and allow for the clients to handle their own content updates. Version control during the development process was done with GIT and Bitbucket. Back-end features were provided by contract developers working remotely. Content migration and creation of new content for the new sites were done based on the situation of the client.. Provided training clients on the use of their new site both in-person as well as remotely via screen sharing. Clients were taught to create content and perform basic site operations. For many clients this was their first exposure to a content management system. Support provided to clients for their sites. This includes routine updates, suggestions for new features and correcting site failures. Clients were also provided support for basic hosting issues such as domain renewals/transfers, SSL certificates, and moving sites to new hosts.501creative also provides hosting for client sites through a managed cloud host. Responsible for creating new sites on the server for hosting, transferring sites from current host, regular site updates, and troubleshooting in coordination with the server manager through an online ticket system.Image scanning and Photoshop manipulation for print and web projects. HTML5 and CSS3 styling on an MVC web application per the specifications on the UI Designer to reflect a design style intended to tie a suite of products together.Make the application responsive for use on tablets and phones. This was accomplished with the addition of Bootstrap 3. This represents the first responsive application by this team.Application tested for cross-browser use and functionality. The application was also made usable in Internet Explorer 8 with the addition of Modernizer, Respond.js, and other modifications.Created the front-end for the next project using the same styling and layout. The front-end was turned over to the development team for integration with their back-end code.
