Responsible for monitoring and maintaining seven linux servers for a 1500+ customer ISP using Portmaster4 (and later Cisco AS5300) access servers.Fluent in configuring and troubleshooting bind DNS, sendmail, IMAP/POP, RADIUS, apache web server, ftp, and NTP.Customized an open source billing system based on php/mySQL to replace an inflexible legacy billing system. Implemented NXJ, Unify's web based forth generation language written entirely in Java. The NXJ IDE allowed developers to create web applications as J2EE war file that could be deployed on a wide variety of application servers including IBM Websphere, BEA Weblogic, JBOSS and Unify's own eWave.Developed the Java/C code interface to implement Accell/Web product, which added a web interface to the character based Accell/SQL (Unify's forth generation language) product.Worked as part of a small team to develop extensions for Dream Weaver in JavaScript to replace the native ResultSet object.
